Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Hostanova Pro uses the Gmail API with the restricted gmail.readonly scope for hotel management features described below. This page exists so Google reviewers and hotel operators can read our Limited Use commitments in one place. Full details: Privacy Policy.

Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use Disclosure)

Hostanova Pro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, regarding Gmail data:

No Human Access: We do not allow humans to read your data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the app's internal operations and even then only when the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
No Advertising: We strictly do not use or transfer your Gmail data for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
Limited Use: We limit our use of your data exclusively to providing and improving the user-facing features prominent in the application's interface (specifically, automated RAAST payment reconciliation and automated OTA reservation import). All other uses of the data are prohibited.
Data Transfer: We only transfer your data to others if necessary to provide or improve these user-facing features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

User-facing features that use Gmail

RAAST payment reconciliation — read bank credit alerts; extract amount and reference; mark invoices paid (partial or full).
OTA reservation import — read Booking.com / Agoda / Airbnb / Expedia confirmation emails; create reservations in the PMS.

Email bodies are processed ephemerally and are not retained. Structured audit fields (subject, sender, extracted amounts / booking fields) may be kept for the hotel's operational history.
